RACING PARTY EVENTS

Robert Trujillo is the man you want if you are hosting a party with children or adults who never grew up (which is all of us really). His slot car racing tracks were always in demand. We had a big 'last day of the school year' party at my children's private school. I had seen Robert and his 8 lane slot car race track at the Los Angeles County Fair the previous summer. My son had so much fun at his booth that I kept Robert's number thinking I may hire him sometime for a birthday party. When I had the chance to organize the campus party (which catered to about 500 children aged 6-12), I remembered how fun his slot cars were. It wasn't just a 'keep the children busy' activity. It was a skill they could learn while having fun. We invited Robert to come and he brought his associate Shane. They set up two tracks for 3 hours each and the kids had a blast. After the party was over and we all recuperated from exhaustion, the feedback we got was, "whoever is in charge next year had better have them come back next year." It truly was a highlight of the party. All the children enjoyed it and even the faculty gave it a try. Thanks for a great day. Lisa Hill

Thank you Robert for coming out to UCR. Robert is an awesome guy to work with and get a hold of. He is quick to respond and I am really happy that I was able to work with him. I couldn’t have asked for someone better to come out. The set-up of both laser tag and the 8 lane slot car race tracks went smoothly and quickly. The first year residents living in the UCR residence halls had a blast at the program and we had an attendance of over 200 residents for this program that was held Sunday afternoon. We had residents from all 3 residence halls come out to the program. Laser tag was a main attraction; the line to play laser tag seemed endless because everyone kept on wanting to play again. The residents really enjoyed themselves. The 8 lane slot car race track was a popular attraction as well with residents crowded around either playing or watching the excitement. We highly recommend Robert Trujillo and Tru One Productions. We found him on the internet and had him come to my son's 7th birthday party in West Los Angeles. The kids went nuts for the race cars and had fun for 2 hours. Robert was great with the kids - he had different competitions, jobs for the little kids and kids waiting to race, and was able to squeeze in a few parents to the mix too. Not sure who enjoyed it more, the kids or the parents! We were so impressed that we had him bring his bigger racing rig to our school's annual Halloween festival and it was a tremndous addition to our fund raising efforts. He is profession, fun and kind.
